Now, it is time to introduce the main character.
He is a prince.
In the poetic epic, he doesn't receive a name until the end - he always had a name, but because he ends up in a foreign country where nobody knows him, he decides to fake amnesia. He lies so much, he starts to believe his own lies and forgets various things about his past.

I mentioned on Riel's profile that the two brothers have a "condition" in which there are threads wrapped around their fingers. While Riel's threads draw blood, the prince's don't; they actually float, ghostlike and light, away from his fingers. In his country, his type of power is the purest form achievable, so he receives quite a bit of envy from his brother (who is constantly weak from losing blood 24/7).

Being a prince, he is obviously part of his country's royal court. He makes public appearances often and must dress in a royal uniform. (Make-up is part of the uniform, as seen in the sketches above.) Not only is he a prince, but with his power, he is seen as a holy figure, since his country's law system is religion-based. So he could be considered a type of high priest. Same goes for his brother, but he doesn't have as much authority as his little sibling, and their father - the King - rules over everyone.

And when he gets lost in the foreign country, that country's princess takes care of him. Her name is Alvin.
